How approval works

Complete the application and keep your assigned application number.
The festival team reviews your experience, availability, audience, and outreach plan.
Selected applicants receive written approval and an ambassador agreement outlining responsibilities and benefits.

Submitting an application does not grant ambassador status. Applicants must be 21 or older. Approval is confirmed in writing by the NOLA Cigar Festival team.

Welcome Guests

Assist with check-in, share event information, and help attendees find their way.

Support Events

Help with setup, event preparation, guest flow, and keeping festival spaces welcoming.

Connect the Team

Support vendor coordination and hospitality under the direction of festival leadership.

What to expect

No previous festival experience is required. We welcome dependable, friendly people who communicate well, follow instructions, and enjoy working with a team. Share your interests and availability so we can match you with suitable assignments.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Roles and shifts are subject to festival needs and team approval. Volunteers assigned to events other than the Family Reunion must be 21 or older. Applicants must be 18 or older; those under 21 will only be considered for Family Reunion assignments.
